Pilates Instructor

As a Fitness Floor Assistant at our facility, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the appearance and safety of the fitness floor. You are expected to take a proactive approach by continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the equipment and facility to ensure a welcoming environment for our members. Additionally, you will provide assistance to members with their exercise programs and offer them a complimentary Pilates training session to support their fitness journey. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain the appearance and safety of the fitness floor - Enhance equipment and facility to create a welcoming environment - Assist members with their exercise programs - Provide complimentary Pilates training sessions - Keep accurate client records - Achieve accepted gym conversion and retention percentages - Deliver effective group reformer instruction - Apply contemporary approach to classical exercises - Provide professional and effective communication for positive member experience - Conduct private Pilates sessions - Develop signature class formats - Stay informed about current group fitness trends - Collaborate in cross-discipline team-building efforts - Maintain cleanliness of designated group exercise rooms Qualifications Required: - Experience in teaching group classes - Pursuit of Personal Training Certification (NASM, NSCA, and/or ACSM) - Dedication to the gym's vision, mission, and culture - Flexibility to work various hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays - Utilize MS Office Suite - Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and respect in all interactions If you are passionate about fitness, customer service, and creating a positive gym environment, we encourage you to apply for this part-time position.
