RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible to optimize sales for a group of products. Creating business plans and strategizing license brands business Understanding the opportunities /white spaces in the business and plan to capitalize the opportunities Engaging with Licensing teams and explore the opportunities Driving all the license brands projects and ensure on time launches Daily tracking of sales - Plan vs Actuals and sharing the same with the team Preparing the monthly sales plan and tracking the same on daily basis Analyzing margins & Discounts Tracking and analyzing the Growth of categories Monitoring the visibility and coordinating with the receptive for promotional activity Interacting with the CDM & category teams for the visibility plan Planning: Effectively planning and forecasting orders to maximize profitability Align overall category level plans and thereby decide on the brand mix and position Financial analysis - Sales, Margin, Discount, and Inventory related analysis Tracking annual operating plan and Monthly plans OTB working along with the central planning team Inventory Management - Take calls liquidation, reduction of slow-moving inventory Range/Product performance analysis Product/style level sales analysis Analyzing the non-performance styles & taking correcting action with the team Tracking sell through of the products Collaborative Partnership Co-ordinating with brand team, sales, and marketing teams for the growth of category Qualifications & Experience : MBA/NIFT with 6+ yrs experience in strategy, Category Management, planning, finance, or related functional areas Strong communication and project management skills Strong Analytical Skills and Process Orientation- Proficiency in MS-Office is must. Knowledge of BI tools/statistics The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment Previous experience in retail, e-commerce added advantage Worked in Accessories category would be good (preferably Watches & Wearables).
