About the Role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team and support prescription verification, medication safety, and customer guidance. The role requires strong pharmaceutical understanding, accuracy in transcription, and the ability to suggest safe medication substitutes when needed. You will also contribute to building and maintaining our medicine database and provide reliable pharmaceutical advice to customers with empathy and clarity. 

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

• Transcribe prescriptions accurately, ensuring correct dosage, directions, and interpretation. 
• Collaborate with internal teams to verify prescriptions, resolve medication-related issues, and maintain workflow efficiency. 
• Suggest clinically appropriate generic medicine substitutes based on availability, safety, and efficacy. 
• Maintain and update the medicine database, including interactions, contraindications, and pharmacological details. 
• Provide pharmaceutical guidance to customers for safe and effective medication use. 
• Ensure medication safety by checking for interactions, duplications, or dosing errors. 
• Support health and wellness education for customers. 
• Ensure full compliance with pharmacy laws, medical ethics, and regulatory guidelines. 

Skills & Technical Competencies

• Pharmaceutical dispensing and medication safety skills. 
• Strong understanding of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy. 
• Knowledge of medical ethics and legal compliance. 
• High attention to detail and accuracy in prescription filling. 
• Ability to research medicines online and interpret medical information. 
• Excel proficiency and comfort using digital tools.
