Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and comply with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines. Participate in ward rounds with the healthcare team to provide drug-related advice and optimize pharmacotherapy. Educate hospital staff about new drugs, protocols, and proper medication handling. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and security of pharmaceuticals within the hospital. Manage drug inventory, prevent shortages, and ensure the availability of essential medicines. Contribute to infection control, antimicrobial stewardship, and formulary management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. Registered and licensed with the national pharmacy board or regulatory authority. Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting (often preferred). Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug safety. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
