Job Title: Pharmacist Location: New Delhi Department: Pharmacy / Clinical Operations Reports To: Clinic Manager / Head Pharmacist Job Summary: We are hiring a qualified and responsible Pharmacist for our multispeciality clinic in New Delhi. The role involves dispensing prescribed medicines accurately, maintaining pharmacy stock, and ensuring smooth coordination with doctors and patients. The candidate must have a valid Delhi Pharmacy Council registration and prior experience working in a clinic or hospital pharmacy setup. Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescribed medicines to patients with accuracy and as per doctor’s instructions. Review and verify prescriptions to ensure correct medication and dosage. Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory, including stock levels, expiry checks, and replenishment. Ensure proper storage and labeling of medicines as per standard guidelines. Guide patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions when required. Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed, purchase entries, and daily sales reports. Comply with all pharmacy regulations under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and other statutory requirements. Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for smooth pharmacy operations. Handle billing and ensure accurate cash management. Support the clinic team in maintaining a clean, organized, and patient-friendly pharmacy environment. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm) from a recognized institute. Valid registration with the Delhi Pharmacy Council – Mandatory. Experience: 6 months to 2–3 years in a clinic or hospital pharmacy. Strong knowledge of medicines, dosages, and drug interactions. Good communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy billing software. Preferred Attributes: Experience working in a multispeciality or outpatient clinic setup. Knowledge of healthcare protocols and patient interaction practices.
