Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards. The role demands strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medicines accurately as per doctor’s prescriptions.
• Ensure correct labelling, dosage, and administration instructions for all medications.
• Maintain and monitor stock levels of medicines and consumables.
• Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of all drugs.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding drug availability and usage.
• Maintain records of controlled substances as per statutory requirements.
• Assist in procurement and inventory management of pharmacy items.
• Comply with hospital policies, NABH norms, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Counsel patients on the proper use of medications when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: D.Pharm or B.Pharm (Registration with State Pharmacy Council is mandatory)
• Experience: 0–3 years (Hospital experience preferred)
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office and Hospital Information System (HIS)

• Sound knowledge of drugs and dosages
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good record-keeping and documentation abilities
• Understanding of hospital pharmacy protocols
