SFS School, Narengi is seeking a dedicated and dynamic educator to serve as PGT – Physics. The role requires strong subject expertise and the ability to teach complex physical concepts with clarity, enabling students to develop analytical thinking, scientific reasoning, and a strong foundation for higher education. The ideal candidate will adopt a student-centered approach, employ innovative pedagogy, and align with the school’s vision for academic excellence and holistic development.

Qualifications:

• Postgraduate in Physics (mandatory)
• B.Ed. is mandatory
• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience at the senior secondary level

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Physics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for senior secondary classes.
• Develop lesson plans, experiments, teaching aids, and assessments suited to diverse learning needs.
• Promote conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving through demonstrations, numerical problem-solving, and practical applications.
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and board examination readiness.
• Provide academic support and mentoring to students requiring additional guidance.
• Supervise and guide practical laboratory work, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to report card preparation.
• Create a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, curiosity, and confidence in scientific thinking.
• Actively participate in school events, academic meetings, and professional development programmes.
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary teaching and curriculum enrichment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns.

Job Type: Full-time
