1. Report all the assigned duties on time. You should report and sign latest by 08:30 AM for the session.

2. Ensure that your teaching covers all areas of the curriculum and that the students achieved the competencies in the curriculum for the year.

3. Prepare daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines. Plan daily lessons for the forthcoming week and submit them to the A.Co. on time for verification.

4. Formulate a suitable scheme of work for the forthcoming year as scheduled by the A.Co.

5. Attend all coordination meetings and discussion meetings.

6. Your present is required for all the Staff meetings, Session meetings, Parent-Teacher meetings and other meetings whenever scheduled by the management.

7. Monitor all the students’ work and mark all their exercises, assignments regularly.

8. Strive enthusiastically for self improvement, academically, professionally and make every effort to meet the expectation / target of the school.

9. Be enthusiastic and responsible in doing all the activities given by the School.

10. Produce and use appropriate teaching aids to make lessons more interesting and effective. Ensure variety in teaching by incorporating varied teaching-learning techniques.

11. Prepare; conduct all the exams, assessments and assignments according to the instruction of the A.Co. and maintain cumulative record of Marks, analyse the results with A.Co. and take measures for further enhancement.

12. Assist in all the house activities up to the maximum capacity and work hard to achieve success.

13. Encourage students to communicate in English (Students-Teachers, Teachers-Teachers and Students-Students) as it is the medium of instruction, except during Tamil and Hindi classes.

14. Be responsible and do not leave students unattended during teaching and other teaching related activities.

15. Encourage students to keep the text books and other belongings neatly, safely and motivate the students to economize.

16. Make the students responsible for their actions and take necessary steps against the students who violate the school rules.

17. Develop a positive attitude, inculcate moral values and exhibit exemplary behavior and character.

18. Take part and be punctual in school co-curricular and extra-curricular events and activities.

19. Try the maximum to build team spirit among colleagues and create good working environment with respect.

20. Plan and implement tasks given by the school avoiding clash with other activities and try to maintain the quality of the same.

21. Develop and maintain good working habits and discipline in classrooms.

22. Try to maintain the decorum and the dignity of the school.

23. Treat all students equally and fairly.

24. Teachers need to be well prepared daily with their subject lessons.

25. Be willing to give your time to this noble profession.

26. Be a good role model in and out of the school.
