Job Description

The PA to the Managing Director plays a crucial role in supporting the MD by being well-versed in the institution's aims and objectives. The primary responsibilities include handling secretarial and administrative tasks, acting as the primary point of contact for both internal and external individuals, and ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: - Managing the MD's calendar, including scheduling and organizing meetings, setting agendas, confirming participants, and arranging facilities as needed. - Maintaining the MD's travel log and planner to streamline travel arrangements and commitments. - Collaborating closely with the Managing Director/Principals to keep them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities. - Taking detailed minutes at management meetings and transcribing them accurately. - Handling ad hoc paperwork and duties to support the MD in various tasks. The ideal candidate should possess the following technical and essential skills: - Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience. - Demonstrated experience in supporting Directors or Senior Management personnel. - Proficiency in Diary Management with the ability to proactively anticipate and plan ahead. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Strong communication skills in English, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. - Preference will be given to candidates with shorthand skills. Overall, the PA to the Managing Director role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions.,
