About The Opportunity

An opportunity with a technology-driven organisation in the Enterprise Software & IT Services sector. The role supports large-scale web and API platforms that require rigorous performance validation to ensure reliability, scalability, and low-latency user experiences across customer-facing and backend systems.We are hiring an on-site Performance Test Engineer in India to design, execute and operationalize performance testing for high-traffic, mission-critical applications.Role & Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end performance test strategies (load, stress, soak, spike) for web, mobile and API services.
Create, maintain and optimise performance test scripts and scenarios using JMeter/LoadRunner/Gatling; parameterize tests and simulate realistic traffic patterns.
Execute large-scale test runs, collect metrics, analyse bottlenecks, and produce actionable root-cause reports with remediation recommendations.
Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and automate test execution and reporting using Jenkins or equivalent tools.
Collaborate with developers, SREs and product owners to validate performance fixes, capacity planning, and production readiness.
Use APM and observability tools to correlate load test findings with application and infrastructure metrics, and track trends over time.

Additional Qualifications

Proven track record of delivering performance testing for enterprise web/API applications and identifying/fixing scalability issues.
Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD and working closely with SRE/Dev teams to validate fixes in staging/production-like environments.
Strong test design, metrics analysis and reporting skills with the ability to translate findings into measurable action items.
