We are Looking for Performance Tester

Exp: 6+ yrs

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understand Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) – response time, throughput, concurrency, scalability.
• Define Performance Testing Strategy & Approach – load, stress, endurance, spike, scalability.
• Plan & Estimate Testing Efforts – prepare test plan, scenarios, and timelines.
• Coordinate with Stakeholders – developers, architects, DBAs, infra, and business teams.
• Design Workload Models – identify critical user journeys and expected transaction volumes.
• Prepare Performance Test Scripts – using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
• Parameterization & Correlation – make scripts dynamic to handle real-life scenarios.
• Set Up Test Environment – ensure proper infra, test data, monitoring tools are ready.
• Execute Performance Tests – simulate expected concurrent users and transactions.
• Monitor System Resources – CPU, memory, DB, network, and application logs.
• Analyze Test Results – identify bottlenecks, slow queries, memory leaks, and performance issues.
• Compare Results with SLAs – ensure business KPIs and benchmarks are met.
• Prepare Reports & Dashboards – highlight key findings, trends, and recommendations.
• Collaborate for Root Cause Analysis – work with dev/DB/infra teams to fix issues.
• Support Capacity Planning – provide inputs on infra requirements for future scaling.
• Integrate with CI/CD – enable continuous performance testing in DevOps pipelines.
• Conduct Production Validation – post-release checks to ensure performance stability.
• Mentor Team Members – review scripts, guide juniors, and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Communicate Findings to Stakeholders – translate technical results into business impact.
• Drive Continuous Improvement – suggest optimizations in code, infra, or architecture.
