Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Tester with extensive hands-on experience in performance testing, specifically using Apache JMeter and LoadRunner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure the scalability, stability, and reliability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, design, and execute performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures using JMeter and LoadRunner.

Analyze test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements.

Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to resolve them.

Monitor application performance during test execution and collect system metrics (CPU, memory, throughput, etc.).

Create detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks and test assets.

Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to plan performance testing activities early in the SDLC.

Provide effort estimations for performance testing tasks and deliver on time.

Continuously research and evaluate new tools and technologies for performance testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing.

Strong expertise with Apache JMeter and LoadRunner (including scripting, execution, and analysis).

Solid understanding of performance testing concepts (load, stress, soak, spike, scalability).

Experience with test result analysis, identifying root causes, and performance tuning recommendations.

Good understanding of web technologies, client-server architecture, APIs, and database performance concepts.

Familiarity with monitoring tools (like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic) is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests.

Exposure to cloud-based performance testing environments.

Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation is a plus.
