Role Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions. Perform a range of interventional cardiology procedures on infants, children, and adolescents. Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate individualized treatment plans. Monitor patient progress post-intervention and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide expert consultation for complex cardiovascular cases requiring interventional care. Educate patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, and post-procedure care. Supervise and train junior cardiologists and medical staff within the department. Engage in clinical research activities to contribute to the advancement of pediatric cardiology. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient interactions. Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards while conducting procedures. Ensure ongoing professional development and remain updated on the latest cardiology trends and technologies. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to optimize patient care. Promote a patient-centered environment that emphasizes quality and compassionate care. Attend departmental meetings and training sessions to enhance care strategies. Qualifications DM or DNB in Pediatric Cardiology from a recognized institute. Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric interventional cardiology. Proven ability to perform advanced interventional procedures. Strong background in pediatric medicine and cardiology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working in a team-oriented environment. Skillful in utilizing diagnostic imaging technologies. Ability to educate and support patients and families. Demonstrated leadership capabilities within clinical settings. Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation standards. Participated in or led clinical research initiatives. Active participation in clinical education and training programs. Strong organizational and time management skills. Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
