Role & Responsibilities

• Lead outpatient and inpatient pediatric cardiology services, managing complex congenital heart pathologies end to end.
• Perform and interpret echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, and interventional procedures including device closures, balloon valvotomies, and stent deployments.
• Coordinate peri-operative care with cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and PICU teams to maximize surgical outcomes and minimize complications.
• Establish evidence-based protocols for neonatal screening, heart failure management, and post-operative follow-up in line with AHA/ESC guidelines.
• Mentor residents, fellows, and nursing staff through bedside teaching, simulation drills, and quality-improvement audits.
• Drive clinical research, maintain registry data, and spearhead community outreach initiatives to advance pediatric cardiac health.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• DM/DNB in Pediatric Cardiology with active MCI/State registration.
• Minimum 5 years independent experience in interventional pediatric cardiology.
• Expertise in transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography.
• Proven track record adhering to ACC/AHA pediatric cardiac care standards.
  

Preferred

• Experience implementing cath-lab QA and radiation-safety programs.
• Authorship in peer-reviewed journals or participation in multicenter trials.
