Key Focus Areas:

Visionary Leadership: Pioneer innovative educational practices in alignment with the school’s vision and as per NEP.(New Education Policy 2020). Provide instructional leadership, faculty development, oversight of curriculum and academic programs and management of student enrichment programs

Curriculum Development:To bridge innovative educational practices with principles of Waldorf education and traditional Indian wisdom.Create a learning environment that encourages inner transformation and self-discovery in students.

Community Building & Growth: Foster collaborative relationships with teachers, students, parents. Creating an environment where students, teachers, and parents feel connected through community engagement. 

Strategic Growth: Lead expansion to grades 11-12 and build sustainable systems for long-term institutional development

Required Qualifications:

Enquiry and transformation : The role requires a candidate who has questioned educational conventions and has explored answers through transforming oneself and educational practices. A strong grasp of any of the alternative educators and the alternative education system the candidate has worked in.

Experience in Creating a School Culture- Familiarity in creating a school culture of enquiry and self-directed learning. A culture that encourages students to question, explore, and develop their understanding of themselves and the world. 

Continued Learning and Growth-An openness to learn Waldorf pedagogy, Indian knowledge systems and a spirit to explore and integrate varied alternative educational practices.

Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:

Waldorf Education: Knowledge and hands-on experience in Waldorf/Steiner educational methods

Indian Knowledge Systems: Experience with traditional Indian educational philosophies and knowledge systems, OR if lacking experience, a keen interest and passion to learn and integrate these systems into modern education.
