PCB Layout Engineer

Job Title: PCB Design Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Experience Required: 2–6 years

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop schematics.

Create and maintain PCB part libraries in compliance with IPC standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Design and develop high-quality PCB layouts for automotive electronic products.

Coordinate with hardware, mechanical engineering teams, and manufacturers to ensure seamless PCB integration.

Conduct design reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure manufacturability.

Generate Gerber files, assembly drawings, and other documentation for production.

Work closely with vendors and manufacturers for PCB fabrication and assembly.

Optimize PCB designs for performance, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.

Perform electrical validation, testing, and troubleshooting of PCB designs.

Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies.

Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate trade-offs related to packaging, cost, manufacturability, and system performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech).

2–6 years of hands-on experience in PCB design tools

Strong knowledge of PCB layout techniques, including signal integrity, power integrity, thermal, and EMC/EMI considerations.

Experience in high-speed digital and RF/microwave PCB design (preferred).

Familiarity with PCB fabrication and assembly processes, including impedance-controlled circuits, layer stack-up, and panel optimization.

Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-2221, IPC-7351, IPC-2152); IPC certification is an advantage.

Familiarity with DFx principles: DFA, DFM, and DFT.

Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
