Patient Care Coordinator

The Patient Care Coordinator at Manipal Hospitals will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from the point of admission through to discharge. This role requires effective communication with patients, families, and medical staff to facilitate care, provide support, and manage patient needs. The coordinator will oversee appointment scheduling, follow up on treatment plans, address patient inquiries, and assist with insurance processes. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care.
 

- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring that their needs and questions are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring all necessary paperwork and procedures are completed. - Schedule appointments and follow-up visits, ensuring optimal use of healthcare resources. - Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare services. - Assist patients in understanding insurance coverage and financial responsibilities. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and address any potential barriers to treatment. - Monitor patient feedback and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction levels.
