Dynatrace Verified Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Dynatrace OneAgent across hybrid and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP/on-prem)
• Manage Dynatrace environments, dashboards, alerts, service-level objectives (SLOs), and tagging strategies
• Perform application performance analysis and root-cause identification using Dynatrace capabilities
• Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD tools, ITSM platforms, and enterprise monitoring ecosystems
• Enable business transaction monitoring, user behavior analytics, and Davis AI insights
• Conduct environment health checks, upgrades, and policy/governance compliance
• Work closely with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to improve performance and reliability
• Provide reporting, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer to stakeholders
• Lead automation and optimization initiatives using Dynatrace APIs and extensions
• Document technical solutions and create operational runbooks

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Dynatrace Verified Engineer certification (or equivalent practical expertise)
• Strong understanding of:
• APM concepts, microservices, and distributed tracing
• Application architecture (Java, .NET, Node.js, etc.)
• Container/Kubernetes and cloud platforms
• Experience with synthetic monitoring, real user monitoring (RUM), network and infrastructure visibility
• Hands-on scripting knowledge: Python, PowerShell, Shell, or similar
• Familiarity with GitOps/DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with log analytics platforms (e.g., Dynatrace Grail, Splunk, ELK)
• ITIL or SRE background
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.)
• Experience developing Dynatrace extensions or automation with Dynatrace APIs
• Strong communication skills with customer-facing experience
