Paper Plant Head

Key responsibilities Operational Management: Oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and logistics. Production: Implement strategies to improve productivity and meet production, quality, and delivery targets. Financial Management: Manage the plant budget, control costs, and conduct performance analyses and cost management initiatives. Quality Control: Maintain and enforce high-quality control standards and processes. Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of production machinery and utilities. This can also include managing spare parts inventory and maintenance contracts. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including those from government bodies like the Pollution Control Board. Leadership and HR: Recruit, manage, and develop the plant staff, evaluate performance, and foster a positive work environment. Liaison and Reporting: Liaise with external government departments and prepare reports for senior management.  Qualifications and skills A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is often preferred. Significant experience in a senior management role within a manufacturing or paper plant environment is essential. Expertise in production management, planning, and budgeting is required. Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills are crucial. Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations is necessary.
