Overseas Counselor

As a Counselor specializing in international student placement, your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the end-to-end processes from counseling, shortlisting, admissions, to visa application for students seeking to enroll in various international programs. You will play a pivotal role in the conversion of students for admission, assisting in scholarship applications, and managing the entire sales process for student enrollment. This includes reaching out to leads through calls, emails, and follow-ups to ensure that allocated targets are met within the given timeframe. Your role will require you to counsel both students and parents on studying abroad opportunities, providing guidance on suitable courses based on their profiles and interests. You should possess strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with prospective students. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in student conversion. As a proactive and productive member of the team, you will collaborate with other counselors to achieve demonstrable outcomes for each cohort. Your responsibilities will also include conducting online telephonic or virtual counseling sessions with students, advising them on educational study opportunities in various countries such as the UK, Australia, Canada, USA, Ireland, Europe, and others. Furthermore, you will be tasked with generating leads for overseas education through references and word-of-mouth recommendations. In addition to providing visa documentation support, you will be responsible for counseling walk-ins, ensuring effective follow-ups with prospects, and offering information on a wide range of universities.
