Job Description

Roles and Responsibility

Develop and implement effective organic farming strategies to enhance crop yields and quality.
Conduct soil analysis and develop nutrient-rich fertilizers using natural materials.
Collaborate with farmers to optimize pest management and disease control using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques.
Design and implement efficient irrigation systems to minimize water waste and ensure optimal plant growth.
Provide technical support and training to farmers on best practices for organic agriculture.
Monitor and evaluate the environmental impact of agricultural practices and recommend improvements.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of organic farming principles, including crop rotation, composting, and cover cropping.
Experience with IPM techniques and their application in real-world scenarios.
Familiarity with soil science and its application in agriculture.
Ability to work collaboratively with farmers and other stakeholders to achieve common goals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse groups.
