working remote from any location for our client in

Dubai

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with an extensive knowledge of advanced PL/SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Oracle technologies, particularly Oracle APEX and PL/SQL, and a passion for creating robust and efficient database-driven applications. This role demands strong understanding of banking and financial business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions using Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications for various business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL code to support business logic, data transformations, and database interactions.
  • Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
  • Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate access controls and encryption techniques.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APEX applications, PL/SQL code, and database performance.
  • Liaise with the Project and Technical Manager for timely completion of tasks as per the set rules of Bank’s Quality Management System.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and related technologies.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of data migration, integration, and transformation processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering skill development within the team.
  • Document technical specifications, design decisions, and code changes for future reference.
