Operations Supervisor

This position requires relocation to Baghdad - Iraq

Position Objective

Oversee day-to-day elevator operations including maintenance, installation, modernization, and project delivery. Ensure teams meet safety standards, deadlines, and quality requirements while supporting smooth coordination between clients, technicians, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance, installation, and repair activities across assigned sites.
• Coordinate technician schedules and ensure optimal manpower allocation.
• Monitor job progress, quality, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
• Inspect sites regularly to ensure proper execution of maintenance and project tasks.
• Support troubleshooting and provide technical guidance to teams when required.
• Review and approve job reports, maintenance records, and service documentation.
• Coordinate material requests, spare parts planning, and inventory control.
• Ensure all installations and maintenance works meet manufacturer and company standards.
• Liaise with clients to address issues, schedule visits, and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist the Projects team in planning timelines, site readiness, and handovers.
• Monitor KPIs for response times, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance completion.
• Train and guide new technicians to maintain consistent operational performance.
• Escalate critical issues, delays, or safety concerns to management promptly.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 4–7 years of experience in elevator maintenance, installation, or projects.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of elevator standards, safety codes, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage field teams, schedules, and multiple sites at once.
• Solid communication and client-handling skills.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage critical situations.
