Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • General back-office processing
  • Account Adjustments to correct account discrepancies or issues.
  • Verbally communicating with customers

    loan modification and corrections

  • Ensures cases and tasks are being worked in the correct prioritization and turnaround times are within metric.
  • Ensures processes for handling the following are documented, regularly reviewed, and updated, and consistently followed by all staff processing them:
  • Reposting payments

  • Due Date changes

  • Loan modification.

  • Deferments

    /

    Forbearances

  • Partial Payment plans

  • Document verification.
  • Customer Payoff program

  • Consolidating loans

  • Principal advances/reductions program

  • Borrower demographic update

  • Other account adjustments 
  • Assist with tasks and special projects as requested by Management to ensure proper functioning of the operations of the company.
  • Assist with payment processing, fraud documents, debt management.
  • Promote good working relationships with all departments.
  • Assist Department Manager with monitoring workflow and operational efficiency to recommend changes and operational improvements.
  • Assist Department Manager with analyzing and responding to trends in volume fluctuation, regulatory changes, and Client requirements.
  • Performs quality processes as a mechanism to identify risk and to ensure that procedures are followed.
  • Keeps current on new developments in areas of responsibility and makes necessary policy and process change recommendations accordingly to Department Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Requires two to three (2) years of Credit Card Servicing, Collections, Loan Servicing, Lease Servicing, Payments Processing, Treasury Operations, Tax filing

    (Anyone minimum)

    experience is required.
  • Graduation in any discipline.
  • Candidates should have a good knowledge of one or more areas mentioned below.

  • Credit card, Loan and Lease

    Lifecycle.

  • 4Cs (Credit, Capacity, Capital

    & Collateral)

  • Knowledge in title, insurance, and tax filing

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills.
  • Must have consistently high-quality scores and excellent customer service

  • Must be capable of handling diverse duties and changing deadlines.
  • Experience in working with the following systems like FDR, Nice CXone, CoreCard, FirstTrack, NLS, TSYS, LeasePak Cloud will be an added advantage.
