CR Fence & Rail provides high-quality DIY railing and fencing products that people count on every day across the USA. Behind every strong rail and fence is a strong team, and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for an Operations Manager who’s equal parts systems thinker and creative problem solver. Someone who loves diving into how people work, how long things take, and how we can make things smoother, faster, and better for both our team and our customers.


This isn’t just about keeping the trains running on time - it’s about bringing fresh ideas, accountability, and a mindset of continuous improvement to everything we do.


What You’ll Do

  • Get to know the team

    . Learn each staff member’s role, responsibilities, and daily challenges. Understand how tasks flow through the business.
  • Build accountability

    . Create clarity in ownership so that everyone knows what’s expected, and we all work together toward results we can be proud of.
  • Find efficiencies

    . Spot the small fixes and the big changes that can make operations smoother - whether that’s in customer service, quality control, scheduling, or beyond.
  • Bring creative thinking

    . Offer fresh solutions to long-standing challenges. We value people who can think outside the box, but then organize those ideas into structured, actionable steps.
  • Raise the bar

    . Make sure our customers continue to receive the reliability and quality that CR Fence & Rail is known for - and help us push that bar even higher.
  • Collaborate and lead

    . You’ll be the glue that keeps projects, people, and processes working together seamlessly.



What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in

    operations, project management, or team leadership.

    (Industry experience is a plus, but not a must.)
  • A knack for

    analyzing processes

    - you like to ask “why” and “how” until the picture is clear.
  • Strong

    communication and people skills

    - you’re not just managing tasks, you’re connecting with people.
  • A balance of

    systematic and creative thinking

    - you can build a process but also dream up a better one.
  • Someone proactive, adaptable, and motivated to make an impact.
