About Us: Sahaj Retail Limited is a trusted leader in delivering digital and financial services across rural and semi-urban India. Through our extensive Sahaj Mitr network, we aim to empower underserved communities by offering access to essential services including banking, insurance, government-to-citizen (G2C) initiatives, and more. Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to lead our operations team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Banking, Financial Inclusion, FMCG, or Insurance, with hands-on experience in managing operations, field teams, and service delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless execution of business processes and supporting our mission to bridge the rural-urban service gap . Key Responsibilities (KRA): Manage and streamline day-to-day operational workflows across business units. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including field force, sales, support, and vendor partners to ensure effective service delivery. Drive initiatives for Financial Inclusion, digital transactions, and retail network enablement. Monitor operational KPIs and share actionable insights through regular MIS and performance reports. Identify gaps and opportunities in processes and implement effective solutions. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance standards relevant to banking and financial services. Oversee documentation, onboarding, and logistics processes for Sahaj Mitrs (retail partners). Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution with high customer satisfaction. Guide and support field staff to meet business objectives and operational targets. Requirements: 3–6 years of proven experience in operations within banking, financial inclusion, FMCG, or insurance sectors. Strong knowledge of service distribution models and rural channel operations. Excellent communication, team management, and vendor coordination skills. Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MIS reporting. Ability to handle multi-location operations and field coordination efficiently. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Ability to commute/relocate: Tangra, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
