Operations Manager

As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at our resort, your main responsibility will be to oversee the operations and ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning. You will lead a team, manage budgets, handle guest relations, and ensure that the resort provides excellent service and memorable experiences. Despite the title of AGM, you will act as the overall head of the property. **Main Responsibilities:** - Oversee all departments including housekeeping, food & beverage, front office, spa, and maintenance. - Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver top-quality hospitality. - Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and quick resolution of issues. - Manage vendor and supplier relationships. - Handle budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting. - Maintain high service standards, policies, and safety practices. - Monitor guest feedback and work to improve experiences. - Handle guest complaints and disputes professionally. - Support and drive marketing campaigns, events, and special promotions. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security requirements. **Reporting:** You will report directly to the Owners/Directors. **Performance Expectations:** - Maintain high occupancy levels and guest satisfaction. - Build staff efficiency and teamwork across departments. **Skills & Qualifications:** - Degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or related field. - 5+ years of resort or hotel management experience. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Guest-first attitude with excellent problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of budgeting and operational management. - Experience in boutique, luxury, or eco-friendly resorts preferred. - Willingness to relocate and work in Coorg. **Growth Opportunities:** There is a pathway for you to be re-designated as General Manager based on your performance. **Additional Details:** - Job Type: Full-time **Benefits:** - Commuter assistance - Food provided - Provident Fund **Education:** Bachelor's (Required) **Experience:** Hotel management: 5 years (Preferred) **Work Location:** In person,
