Core Job Responsibilities

Operations & Project Management

• Oversee

  day-to-day operations, maintenance, and execution

  of solar PV rooftop systems, solar pumping installations, and utility-scale solar power plants.
• Possess strong expertise in

  solar water pumping systems

  ,

  MW-scale EPC projects

  , and plant O&M.
• Handle

  tendering, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and design

  of solar power plants.
• Ensure compliance with

  statutory laws, environmental norms, safety standards

  , and company policies.

Business & Financial Management

• Manage

  operational budgets, forecasting, resource allocation

  , and financial performance of the solar vertical.
• Analyse financial data to drive

  cost optimization, efficiency, and profitability.

• Treat the solar division as an

  independent profit centre

  with full P&L responsibility.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams including

  engineers, technicians, project managers, and support staff.

• Drive

  team building, recruitment, training

  , and performance management.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  

Business Development & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the

  key liaison

  with clients, solar consultants, EPC partners, vendors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Drive

  market identification, inquiry generation, and business development

  on a PAN India basis.
• Develop and manage strong relationships with

  installation partners, suppliers, and customers.

Technical & Strategic Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve

  technical issues, system faults, and operational crises.

• Implement

  new technologies, tools, and process improvements

  to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Define and execute

  long-term operational strategies

  aligned with organizational goals.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Deep knowledge of

  Solar PV systems, EPC execution, solar pumping projects, and battery storage.

• Strong understanding of

  tendering, costing, and plant design.

• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing

  P&L.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
