Job Title: Operations Executive


About Us:


Dream a Dozen is a gifting company specialising in baked goods like cookies, chocolates, cakes, etc for individuals and corporate clients. Started in 2018, we are currently in our expansion phase and we are looking to grow the brands into more channels like ecommerce, quick commerce and other platforms. We are looking for a strong operations executive who can grow on this journey with us. 


The role of an operations executive is an extremely important role in our organisation, since it is the pillar between our clients, logistics and kitchen team. 


Job Responsibilities:


Operations Management:

  • Manage daily operations, including overseeing the kitchen team, delivery team, customer service team, and logistics.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and communication among all teams to provide the best possible service to our customers.

 

Inventory Management:

  • Manage inventory, ensuring that we always have the necessary ingredients and supplies.
  • Forecast inventory requirements, place orders, and verify receipts against orders.
  • Work with various platforms like Zomato Hyperpure, Metro, Amazon, and local vendors for inventory procurement.
  • Find the best vendors for quality, rates, and payment terms.
  • Maintain organized records of bills and payments to vendors.

 

Delivery Coordination:

  • Coordinate deliveries using platforms like Porter, Icarry, and others, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Sync delivery schedules with the kitchen team and customers.

 

Customer Service:

  • Coordination with customers for their requirements of cakes for milestones
  • Maintaining revenue and feedback reports


Qualifications:

  • Culinary or hospitality degree or equivalent experience.
  • Flexibility with working hours and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
  • Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to teamwork.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with checklists.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and recipe costing.
  • Basic understanding of Kannada and English.
  • Comfortable with smartphone operations and navigating Bangalore’s geography.
  • Strong negotiation skills.

 

What you should know:

  • This is an on-site role, not wfh 
  • This role has a 6 day work week with 1 weekday off 
  • This role gets 12 casual leaves + 1 birthday leave + 4 national holidays + 12 wfhs
  • The ctc is 2.4lac - 3 lac per annum 
  • Dream a Dozen currently has a growing team of 20 people and the leadership gives personal attention to each individual's learning, we are a young and energetic team with the ambition to leave a dent in this industry as we grow
