Operations cum Sales executive Shipping

You should have 1 to 5 years of experience in the shipping industry to apply for the position of Operations cum Sales Executive. Your main responsibilities will include: - Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the freight forwarding industry to drive business development. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their logistics needs, and offering customized solutions for client relationship management. - Meeting or exceeding sales targets by promoting freight forwarding services like air freight, ocean freight, and customs clearance to drive sales growth. - Staying updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge through market research. - Preparing and presenting quotations and proposals to potential clients, emphasizing the advantages of our freight forwarding services for quotation and proposal preparation. - Working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments and promptly resolve any arising issues through collaboration with the operations team. To be considered for this role, you must have: - Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field for logistics experience. - Strong sales and negotiation skills to build relationships and close deals for sales skills. - Good understanding of the freight forwarding industry, including Incoterms, customs regulations, and transportation modes for industry knowledge. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet targets, and deliver results for being results-oriented. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and requires working in person at the specified work location.,
