Job Title: Operations Manager – Premium Bar & Restaurants

Location: Guwahati, Assam

About Us:

We are a leading premium standalone bar & restaurant group in Guwahati, known for exceptional hospitality, high standards of food & beverage, and a vibrant guest experience. We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities (JD):

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments (FOH & BOH).
  • Maintain high standards of service, hygiene, quality, and compliance with company policies.
  • Supervise, guide, and train staff including captains, stewards, bartenders, chefs, and housekeeping.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, vendor coordination, and cost control.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and achieve sales & profitability targets.
  • Handle guest relations, resolve complaints, and ensure a memorable guest experience.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliance (FSSAI, Excise, Labour Laws, etc.).
  • Coordinate with HR for hiring, training, and staff performance evaluation.
  • Plan and execute events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to increase footfall.
  • Report directly to the management and implement strategic directions.

Key Result Areas (KRA):

  • Customer Experience: Consistently high guest satisfaction ratings & positive feedback.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieving monthly & annual sales targets.
  • Operational Efficiency: Reduction in wastage, optimum manpower utilization, and smooth workflow.
  • Cost Management: Maintaining food & beverage cost and other operational costs within budget.
  • Team Development: High staff retention, training effectiveness, and improved team productivity.
  • Compliance: 100% adherence to hygiene, safety, and statutory regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Hotel/Restaurant Management or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role in a reputed restaurant/bar/hotel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on knowledge of restaurant software (POS, inventory, billing).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
