Position Vacant: Manager AFR Imports

Location:

Manage, control and develop the Air Freight (AFR) import operational activities in the area in accordance with the group business strategy and local business environment to deliver maximum profit and optimize business assets and human resources

Manage Carrier Relationships for service deliverables

Responsible for the AFR Import P&L in the Region including the satellite stations

• Customers

Customer Relationship

Complaint Handling

• Carriers / Suppliers

Carrier / Supplier liaison, Operational activities, Issue resolution, process execution and performance improvements

• Branch Management

AFR Import Product support and promotion for Commercial & Operations

• Product Management

Implements, monitors and enforces service and quality standards in day-to-day operations, in co-operation with Air Imports team

Network co-ordination & support

CBC interface

Drive and implement Product Launches

Responsible for regional Import EBIT budget

Responsible for establishing and monitoring destination import tariffs and delivering import department service quality

Will liaise with the network to ensure smooth operation flow of import shipments

Will maintain contact with Carrier / Authorities / Broker/Customers on regular basis as required in the said capacity

Deployment and supervision of Import Department staff.

Customer Visits for Sales Support and business closures

Customer/Network Claim Handling/Closures

Responsible for Overall Billing Quality and timeliness

Reconciliation / Resolution of Network Issues & Credit Control related Commercial Issues

Responsible for AFR Operations Quality and Excellence
