Company Description We are ZAM – a privately held logistics company operating in the South Eastern coastal belt of India. With over 15 years of experience in bulk cargo and a strong footprint in engineering solutions, we are now rapidly expanding in container terminal operations in partnership with Adani at Gangavaram Port, Visakhapatnam. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Onsite Manager located in Visakhapatnam. The Onsite Manager will oversee daily operations at the site, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and manage staff efficiently. Responsibilities include coordinating project activities, liaising with clients, handling logistics, and ensuring timely project completion. The role also involves monitoring inventory, preparing and submitting daily reports, and optimizing resource allocation. Qualifications Project Management, Team Management, and Leadership skills 5–7 years of experience in operations, logistics, site administration, or people management Strong leadership skills — someone who can manage teams, take initiative, and own the outcome Industry background is flexible — we value attitude, clarity of thought, and hunger to grow Someone who does not take “no” for an answer and thrives in high-stakes, fast-moving environments Operational Planning and Logistics Management experience preferred Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance Communication and Client Liaison skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Experience in engineering or logistics is preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field What we offer A competitive CTC of 5-8 LPA A direct role in site management with exposure to port-level operations Equity potential for candidates who stay and grow with us (eligible after 3 years) If you're looking for more than just a job and want to be part of something being built from the ground up — this is your chance Show more Show less
