📍 Location: Gangavaram Port, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

About the Role

Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems across port facilities.
STS & RTG Troubleshoot and maintain
PLC-based automation systems
(Siemens/Allen Bradley/Schneider or equivalent).
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, including motors, drives, switchgear, and control panels.
Collaborate with operations and mechanical teams to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to energy efficiency projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
(or related field).
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of STS & RTG.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial automation, and instrumentation.
Familiarity with VFDs, SCADA, and control systems will be an added advantage.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
