Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced academic professional with a strong Scopus publication and review background in psychology and coaching. The ideal candidate will have successfully authored and/or reviewed research articles published in Scopus Q1/Q2/Q3-ranked journals and will contribute as a contract-based writer and reviewer to support ongoing scholarly work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research & Writing: Draft, edit, and refine manuscripts for submission to high-impact journals (Q1/Q2/Q3).

  • Literature Review: Conduct systematic literature reviews, synthesize findings, and ensure manuscripts are theoretically sound.

  • Peer Review Support: Provide critical evaluation and constructive feedback on draft manuscripts prior to submission.

  • Formatting & Compliance: Ensure adherence to target journal submission guidelines, including APA / Harvard referencing and formatting standards.

  • Publication Strategy: Advise on suitable journal selection and positioning of manuscripts to maximize acceptance chances.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with principal investigators, co-authors, and editorial teams to align with research goals.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Psychology, Coaching, Behavioral Sciences, Education, or related discipline (Ph.D. preferred).

  • Demonstrated record of authorship in peer-reviewed Q1/Q2/Q3 journals (psychology, coaching, or applied social sciences).

  • Experience as a peer reviewer or editorial board member is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of research methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods).

  • Proficiency in academic writing and editing, with attention to clarity, originality, and rigor.

  • Familiarity with manuscript submission platforms (e.g., ScholarOne, Editorial Manager) is a plus.

  • Ability to provide objective, constructive, and rubric-based feedback.
