About the Role:

As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you will play a critical role in our customer onboarding process and be the first point of contact for implementation. This position requires a proactive and driven individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for solving customer problems.

Job Responsibilities:

Experience & Background:

  • 2-3 years of customer onboarding experience, preferably in B2B SaaS serving SMBs
  • Proven track record in improving trial-to-paid conversion rates and accelerating time-to-value (TTV)
  • Experience with horizontal/multi-feature platforms (CRM, sales tools, or unified business platforms preferred)
  • Background in both product-led growth (PLG) and sales-led growth (SLG) environments

Technical & Product Skills:

  • Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn and explain complex, multi-feature products
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and AI-powered business tools
  • Ability to conduct software demos and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to optimize onboarding funnels

Communication & Customer Success:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable hosting live onboarding calls, webinars, and product demos
  • Experience managing high-volume customer interactions efficiently
  • Proven ability to identify and address customer pain points quickly during trial periods

Operational Excellence:

  • Fast-paced, self-starter mindset with strong bias for action
  • Experience managing multiple customer touchpoints within compressed timelines (7-day trials)
  • Strong project management skills to handle high-volume onboarding processes
  • Ability to create and iterate on onboarding materials, workflows, and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Experience with customer segmentation and personalized onboarding approaches
  • Knowledge of sales processes, lead qualification, and customer lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with onboarding tools (Intercom, Pendo, Appcues, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of AI/automation tools and their business applications
  • Experience collaborating with product, sales, and customer success teams

Success Metrics Focus:

  • Track record of measurable improvements in trial conversion rates
  • Experience reducing time-to-first-value for complex products
  • History of maintaining high customer satisfaction scores during onboarding
  • Demonstrated ability to scale onboarding processes without sacrificing quality
