Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced O&M Contracts Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in the solar industry. This role is pivotal in managing the procurement process for operations and maintenance contracts, ensuring optimal performance and compliance while fostering strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Management

  : Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for O&M services. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.

• Contract Negotiation

  : Negotiate contracts for O&M services, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives and compliance requirements.

• Procurement Strategy

  : Develop and implement procurement strategies that meet project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality and efficiency.

• Market Analysis

  : Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, pricing strategies, and supplier capabilities.

• Compliance Assurance

  : Ensure all contracts are in compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.

• Collaboration

  : Work closely with project managers, finance, and legal teams to align procurement activities with overall business objectives.

• Performance Monitoring

  : Evaluate and monitor the performance of O&M contracts, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.

• Reporting

  : Prepare and present procurement reports to management, detailing savings, vendor performance, and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech with minimum of 5-10 years' experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain roles, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
  
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a proven track record in contract negotiation.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  
• Knowledge of solar energy systems and related technologies is a plus.
  
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
