Job Description:

• Architect and design Lead the design of Okta based IAM solutions including architecture diagrams security models and migration roadmaps
• Implement integrations Architect and oversee the integration of Okta with onpremise and cloud applications using protocols such as SAML OAuth and OIDC
• Develop standards and best practices Define enterprisewide standards for identity authentication and access management
• Manage user lifecycles Design and implement user provisioning deprovisioning and migration processes often from legacy systems like SiteMinder
• Implement security features Architect and deploy security solutions like Single SignOn SSO MultiFactor Authentication MFA and RoleBased Access Policies RBAP
• Automate solutions Use Okta APIs and Workflows to design and implement custom workflows and automated provisioning
• Collaborate with teams Work closely with security application and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions are secure scalable and meet business needs
• Provide technical leadership Act as a subject matter expert provide guidance to developers and ensure alignment with security and architectural standards
• Maintain and optimize Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance scalability and security of the Okta environment
• Required skills and qualifications
• Strong technical expertise in the Okta Identity Cloud
• Experience with identity and access management principles including SSO MFA and user lifecycle management
• Proficiency with integration protocols like SAML OAuth 20 and OIDC
• Knowledge of cloud computing architecture
• Experience with scripting and automation eg Terraform is often a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements eg GDPR SOC2
