Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Sourcing and Negotiation:

Research and evaluate new vendors and suppliers.
Initiate enquiries and gather quotations.
Prepare detailed comparison statements for price, quality, and terms.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve maximum cost reduction.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends.

Order Management:

Generate and issue formal Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and timely.
Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of all materials.
Collaborate with internal departments (All the Office Staff, Production, Accounts & Logistics Team) to determine needs.
Manage and track AMC renewals to ensure continuous service coverage.
Arrange and manage vendors for the clearance of scrap/debris from the premises.

Goods Receipt and Inventory:

Ensure proper procedures for receiving goods.
Prepare or oversee the generation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
Coordinate with the stores team for effective inventory management.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in material quality, quantity, or documentation.
Request and track vendor credit notes for returns or pricing adjustments.
Collate and submit all purchase bills and invoices to the Accounts Payable department.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience:

2-4 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or buying role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), Google docs. Hands-on

experience with an ERP system (Tally, etc.) is highly desirable.

Key Competencies:

Strong negotiation skills, analytical ability, and high attention to

detail. Excellent communication and time management skills.
