Officer - PD Crackers

As a Manager PD in Core Bakery at our company, your role will involve: - Designing products and services: - Developing new products by understanding marketing briefs, converting them into recipes and specifications, creating concept samples, and conducting feasibility studies. - Sourcing ingredients from suppliers, conducting pilot plant trials, and scaling up production to provide samples for market research. - Ensuring legal compliance, calculating costs, and identifying ingredient and equipment requirements. - Vendor Management: - Coordinating and recommending business partners and vendors for supporting projects and ingredients. - Providing Engineering Support: - Helping in identifying technology, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers for equipment and process up-gradation. - Supporting engineering in sourcing/developing equipment for new products to ensure availability of appropriate machinery for production. - Producing and delivering products and services: - Supporting market intelligence by understanding competitor products and collecting and analyzing competitor samples from the market. - Validating findings of pilot plant trials through market research to ensure product acceptability based on consumer preference testing methodologies. - Managing information resources and technology: - Preparing product and process standards documents, circulating them to designated teams, and ensuring timely development and commercialization of innovations. - Managing brands through product renovations, technical feasibility studies, data collection, evaluation of products and machines, pilot plant trials, and scale-up to support timely and successful renovation/innovation of products. - Updating technical documentation regarding recipes and coordinating with support functions to enable the transfer of technical information accurately and in a timely manner. Your qualifications should include a post-graduate degree, preferably in Food Technology or related fields. Desired competencies include knowledge of Food Products Research and Development, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Quality Assurance, as well as team management skills including collaboration, influencing, and stakeholder management. You should have at least 15 years of experience in Food Science & Technology, preferably in Bakery Products (Product Development or R&D function), with an added experience of 3-5 years in Manufacturing/Quality being preferable. Experience in multiple product platforms and new business projects will be considered an added advantage for this role.,
