Overview:

We are seeking an experienced OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of OCI services, cloud security, networking, and automation, and will be responsible for guiding enterprise-wide cloud adoption strategies. You will work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring high availability, scalability, and resilience.
• Lead the migration of on-premise and multi-cloud workloads to OCI, including application refactoring, data migration, and infrastructure modernization.
• Define and enforce cloud governance policies, including identity and access management (IAM), resource tagging, cost controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Architect secure and optimized network topologies using OCI Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), load balancers, DNS, and security lists.
• Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager.
• Integrate OCI services with existing enterprise systems, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and DevOps platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and developers.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to data protection, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Stay current with OCI service updates, new features, and best practices, and recommend strategic improvements.
• Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with at least 3 years focused specifically on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• In-depth knowledge of OCI core services: Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Networking (VCN, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway), IAM, DNS, and Monitoring.
• Proven experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including encryption, identity federation, and least-privilege access.
• Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes via OKE), and serverless computing (Functions).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD integration, and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OCI Monitoring).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Certified Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional (or equivalent) is required.
