The EcoStruxure IT Pre-sales Technical PCNS Specialist is responsible for providing Subject Matter Expertise for EcoStruxure IT technologies, specializing in Power chute network shut down and supporting the sales cycle for new prospects and existing customers. EcoStruxure IT technologies include Enterprise IT Device Monitoring software, Enterprise Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Software, Netbotz Environmental Monitoring hardware, and Cooling Optimize. The role is responsible for the day-to-day Technical Pre-sales activities, presentations, and proof of concept activities for EcoStruxure IT technologies across all industries, with a primary focus on the Sales and Pre-sales activities of the Schneider Electric Secure Power business. The EcoStruxure IT Pre-Sales Technical Consultant collaborates with and takes guidance from the EcoStruxure IT Sales Manager & Secure Power Commercial Account Managers when working on customer-facing opportunities and Sales pursuits. Role & Responsibilities Collaborate with and take direction from EcoStruxure IT Sales Managers and Commercial Account Managers and Partners, in relation to opportunity strategy and priority. Articulate Schneider Electric EcoStruxure IT technology and product portfolio, positioning PCNS solution to both business and technical user audience. To attend meetings with prospects and customers to determine technical and business requirements and ensure that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution proposal. Manage the technical sales bid process by responding to RFI & RFP documents. Liaising with EcoStruxure IT Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements and improvements. Manage & deliver compelling proof of concept technical demonstrations. Responsible for actively driving and managing the technical presales process with direct, enterprise and channel customers. Confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally, to remote attendees and in-person attendees where required by local guidance. Deliver product and technical enablement to channel partners and internal stakeholders. Create internal design configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations. Qualifications Qualifications Background in Enterprise IT environments, prior experience either with IT Servers, Data Centers or related Enterprise IT software and services. Working knowledge of Operating Systems, including Microsoft Windows and Linux. Basic knowledge of VMWare and virtualization technologies. Basic knowledge of Data Center protocols SNMP & Modbus. Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce.com.

Key Responsibilities: Windows Server Administration: Install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments. Virtualization Management: Administer and maintain VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, and ensure optimal performance. Active Directory & GPO: Manage and optimize Active Directory, Group Policies, and user authentication processes. File Server Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot file servers, permissions, and storage quotas. Backup & Recovery: Ensure regular backups and implement disaster recovery procedures. Patch Management: Apply security patches, updates, and service packs for Windows servers. Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Use monitoring tools to track system performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks. Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices, access control policies, and compliance with industry standards. Incident Resolution: Provide expert troubleshooting for server-related issues, minimizing downtime. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, incidents, and best practices. Required Qualifications & Skills: Experience: 8-9 Years. Operating Systems: Strong expertise in Windows Server administration. Virtualization: Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, and Hyper-V. Directory Services: Proficiency in managing Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP. File & Storage Management: Experience in managing file servers, DFS, NTFS permissions, and storage solutions. Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving skills for server, network, and virtualization issues. Security & Compliance: Knowledge of Windows security best practices, patching, and endpoint protection. Scripting & Automation (Preferred): PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks. Backup & Disaster Recovery: Familiarity with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, or similar). Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.
