Meet - Ms. Susi-HR

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

Experience:

5+ years of stamping quality experience in manufacturing or EMS environment.

Strong knowledge of stamping processes, tooling, and materials.

Proficient in quality tools: SPC, FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis, etc.

Experience with CMMs, micrometres, and precision inspection tools.

Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other quality standards.

Skilled in using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC software).

Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with advanced stamping technologies (e.g., progressive dies, high-speed stamping) is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead quality assurance activities during NPI for new stamping products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and quality compliance.

Validate stamping dies, tooling, and processes through trials and inspections.

Develop and implement quality control procedures for stamped components.

Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and routine part audits.

Investigate and resolve quality issues using tools like FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.

Coordinate material qualification and testing with suppliers.

Maintain and present quality documentation and reports to internal teams and customers.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods.

Train production and quality staff on new product requirements and quality techniques.
