THE OPPORTUNITY

JAQA World Foundation (Section 8 Company) is launching to champion healthcare as a human right in India through:

• Healthcare rights advocacy and policy reform

• AI ethics in health systems (ZERO competition - emerging regulatory need)

• Community health rights initiatives

The Gap: Healthcare + Human Rights + AI Ethics = Nobody in India is doing this combination yet

Market Demand:

• Hospitals need AI ethics assessments (regulatory compliance)

YOUR ROLE: CO-FOUNDER & CEO

100% operational autonomy. This is YOUR company.

You Control:

• ✅ Revenue strategy (grants, consulting, training, corporate partnerships)

• ✅ Team building (hire/structure as revenue allows)

• ✅ Program design (what projects, where, how)

• ✅ All day-to-day operations

You Report: Quarterly Board check-ins (minimal oversight)

WHO YOU ARE

Must-Haves:

• 3-5+ years healthcare/NGO/social sector experience

• Entrepreneurial mindset (comfortable building from zero)

• Financial runway: 3-6 months self-funded (savings, family support, or part-time income)

• Grant writing and business development skills

• Mission-driven: Healthcare equity genuinely matters to you

COMPENSATION: ENTREPRENEURIAL MODEL

THERE IS NO GUARANTEED SALARY

How You Earn:

Revenue Split Model:

• Consulting/training/services: 50-60% to you (after hard costs), 40-50% to organization

• Grants: Take standard ED salary (₹6-12L depending on grant size) + operational costs

Equity: 25% equity-equivalent stake + Co-Founder title + Board seat

Example Scenarios:

Month 6:

• Small grant secured: ₹15L → ₹6L your salary, ₹6L programs, ₹3L operations

• 2 consulting projects: ₹8L revenue → ₹4-5L to you, ₹3-4L to organization

• Your take: ₹10-11L annually

Year 1:

• Grants: ₹20-40L

• Consulting/training: ₹10-20L

• Total organizational revenue: ₹30-60L

• Your realistic take: ₹12-25L (40-50% after all operational costs)

Year 2:

• Grants: ₹50L-1Cr

• Consulting established: ₹20-40L

• Total revenue: ₹70L-1.4Cr

• Your realistic take: ₹25-50L

Year 3+:

• Scaled operations: ₹1.5-3Cr revenue

• Your realistic take: ₹40-80L+

REALISTIC OPERATIONAL COSTS

Why you take 50-60%, not 70%:

Hard Costs (from revenue):

• Staff salaries (as you hire): ₹15-30L annually

• Office/admin (registration, compliance, software): ₹3-6L annually

• Program delivery costs: 30-40% of grant amounts
