Node.js & Next.js Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Next.js and Node.js.

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, adhering to best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure code quality and reliability.

• Optimize front-end performance, improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, FID), and enhance overall application responsiveness.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and inefficient rendering.

• Participate in code reviews, ensuring consistency, security, and scalability.

• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and performance optimization techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, with strong expertise in Next.js and Node.js.

• Experience with React ecosystem, SSR (Server-Side Rendering), and API development.

• Solid understanding of web performance metrics and experience optimizing Core Web Vitals.

• Proficient in testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps practices.

• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Kubernetes based container deployment of the application

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Edge Functions, Serverless architectures, or Content Delivery

Networks (CDNs) for performance optimization.

• Exposure to WebSockets, Kafka, or real-time data streaming.

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
