Role Description Job Title: Node.js Developer Location: Any UST Location Job Type: Full-Time About The Role We are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic, cross-functional team working on a high-priority, global strategic project aimed at enhancing Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities. This role is essential to the successful implementation of a cutting-edge solution that will uplift PAM controls and integrate seamlessly with other systems within the organization. As a Node.js Developer, you will work closely with developers, DBAs, and other technical teams to build and deploy an integrated solution that aligns with our security, infrastructure, and operational goals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work autonomously while collaborating with diverse teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop & Implement Solutions: Collaborate with developers and DBAs to design, develop, and implement a robust solution as part of the global PAM initiative. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with technical teams and SMEs to ensure seamless integration of the new solution with existing and future systems such as ticketing systems, API gateways, and infrastructure provisioning systems. Testing & Issue Resolution: Partner with the testing team to troubleshoot and resolve issues before go-live, ensuring that the solution meets project milestones and quality standards. Project Delivery: Ensure deliverables are completed on time, aligning with the project plan. Escalate issues as necessary to the team lead. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with business owners, technical leads, and third parties to meet technical milestones and align on objectives. Must-Have Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 6 years of software development experience. Language Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken). Node.js Expertise: Strong proficiency in Node.js with experience working with Nest.js or Express.js and TypeScript. API Development: Proven experience in developing and consuming REST APIs and building web-based applications. Database Skills: Solid understanding of relational database technologies, and experience with MSSQL databases is a plus. Containerization & Cloud: Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with DevOps tooling such as CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and other related tools. Version Control: Proficient with version control tools such as Git. Autonomous Work Style: Ability to work independently with limited supervision, showing strong initiative and ownership. Security & Performance: Strong understanding of performance and security aspects in software development. Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working across teams and with business owners to ensure technical milestones are met. Good-to-Have Qualifications Database Frameworks: Experience with database frameworks such as TypeORM, Prisma, Knex.js, or Sequelize. Front-End Skills: Proficiency in React.js and Next.js front-end technologies is a plus. Technical Documentation: Ability to write technical documentation, including Low-Level Designs (LLDs), release notes, etc. Automation: Experience automating development activities to streamline processes.
