Node.js Developer

About The Opportunity

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Architect and implement microservices solutions ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and third-party APIs for networking and infrastructure management.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end features for web and mobile applications.
• Write unit and integration tests, enforce code quality, and conduct peer code reviews.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems with observability and logging tools.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Fresher must have professional knowledge/experience in Node.js development building production-grade backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design; GraphQL knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with microservices, Docker, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha), and Agile methodologies.
  

Preferred

• Experience with cloud-native services (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Azure Functions).
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Exposure to real-time communication frameworks (WebSocket, Socket.io).
• Familiarity with performance testing and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
