Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Node.js Developer, located in Gurgaon. The Node.js Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end components and connecting them to front-end services. Day-to-day tasks include server-side logic implementation, database integration, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js for server-side development
• Experience in Front-End Development, including knowledge of Redux.js
• Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience with databases, both SQL and NoSQL, is a plus

Roles And Responsibilities:

● Design and develop robust backend systems and APIs using Node.js, leveraging its asynchronous, event-driven nature to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers, to seamlessly integrate frontend and backend components, ensuring a cohesive and immersive user experience.

● Implement scalable data storage solutions using databases such as MySQL and MongoDB, optimizing database schema and queries for efficiency and performance.

● Architect and implement event-driven architectures using message brokers like Kafka and SQS (Simple Queue Service), enabling real-time processing of events and asynchronous communication between microservices.

● Ensure the security of backend systems and APIs by implementing best practices, such as input validation, authentication, and encryption, to protect sensitive user data and prevent unauthorized access. ● Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards, conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, and document technical specifications to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.

● Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

● Proficiency in Node.js and other server-side technologies, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and databases like MySQL and MongoDB.

● Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.

● Experience working with event-driven architecture and message brokers such as Kafka and SQS, preferably in the context of gaming or real-time applications.

● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment. ● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

● Prior experience in Ecommerce Industry
