About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NOC Analyst to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in network operations within the Indian job market. As a NOC Analyst, you will act as an escalation point for NOC L1 Engineers and be responsible for managing and resolving incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and changes. You will work closely with senior engineers to tackle advanced issues and ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities

Escalation Point: Serve as a key escalation point for NOC L1 Engineers, providing advanced troubleshooting and support.
Incident Management: Efficiently manage and resolve network-related incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and changes.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance using industry-standard tools and proactively address potential issues.
Maintenance and Optimization: Perform routine network maintenance and optimization to ensure peak performance.
Collaboration: Work alongside senior engineers and other IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of incident resolutions, network configurations, and operational procedures.
Shift Work: Ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging network technologies and recommend enhancements to improve network performance and reliability.
Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with network security policies and protocols.

Required Skills

Education: bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a Network Operations Center or similar environment.
Knowledge of Cisco wired switching (Catalyst, Nexus) and Cisco wireless (Cisco WLCs, Lightweight, Meraki APs).
Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls.
Exposure to Cisco ISE for authentication and access control of campus networks.
Hands-on exposure to Cisco management platforms such as DNA Center, Prime Infrastructure, ISE Dashboard, or Meraki Dashboard (preferred).
Understanding of networking fundamentals including VLANs, STP, routing basics, DHCP/DNS, SSIDs, and RF fundamentals.
Ability to perform Tier 1.5 troubleshooting for connectivity, authentication, and wireless performance issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of handling complex technical issues.
Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with team members and other departments.
Certifications: CCNA is required; CCNP or equivalent certifications are a plus.
