NMTRONICS - Business Analyst

Description

• Manage end-to-end onboarding of new retail product SKUs, including metadata entry, behavioral attributes, thumbnail linking, and 3D model references.
• Work extensively with Google Sheets and Excel to clean, merge, and manipulate large datasets (1,000+ rows) across multiple sources.
• Write SQL queries to extract, validate, and transform product data from internal databases.
• Ensure functional and behavioral product data is accurately reflected in the platform (e.g., mounting type, materials compatibility, 3D rotation behavior).
• Troubleshoot issues reported through Jira tickets related to product data display or configuration.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA, and other analysts.
• Automate repetitive tasks where possible using tools like Python or Tableau Prep (optional but preferred).
• Match new product specs to existing templates and validate compatibility (e.g., sinks and faucets, light fixtures for walls vs. ceilings).
• Participate in regular sprint meetings and team check-ins via Slack, Google Meet, etc.
  

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a hybrid Business Analyst / Data Analyst role.
• Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, bulk edits).
• Solid SQL skills for querying and joining across multiple tables.
• Experience managing or working with structured product data (PIM or CMS experience a plus).
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve with minimal guidance using available data.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and working independently in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
• Exposure to Jira, Python, GCP, or basic scripting/automation is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
